We have improved the handling of mask images in Design Online. For each image block in a PDF template file, you can assign a mask. The mask image is placed on top of the image selected by the end-user and the customer's image is displayed through the image mask.

Documentation on preparing image masks is available in the online documentation.
You can insert QR codes into documents being personalized as part of the Design Online process. The QR code is generated on the Designer server and is inserted into an image block.
Instructions for inserting QR codes are here.
This new feature is available for all customers with an active subscription including the Design Online option.
Now Printers Website can add a barcode to the top right of the job-tickets it creates. You can select the data to be encoded in the barcode and the barcode format you would like.

The Print Science Design Online server now offers a function to merge a template file with a database file. This is similar to the Microsoft Word mail merge function but is performed on high-resolution PDF files instead of low-resolution Word files.
The result of the data merge is a single PDF file containing all the merged records.
Instructions for performing a data merge are here.
This new feature is available for all customers with an active subscription including the Online Design option.
We have upgraded the online file upload method. The new file upload method allows your customers to upload multiple files at the same time.
The new file upload method is based on Flash technology. Those users that do not have Flash installed in their browser, will automatically be switched to the old, non-flash upload page.
